CM Punjab Expands Free Wi-Fi to 22 Cities

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken another big step to make Punjab more digital and connected. The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has now expanded its free Wi-Fi service to 22 cities in the province. This means more people can enjoy free, high-speed internet in public places like parks, markets, and roadsides.

Before this upgrade, the service was available in just 11 cities. Now, the number has doubled, helping millions of students, workers, and travelers stay connected online without using mobile data.

In Lahore, the number of free Wi-Fi spots has gone up from 230 to 430 locations—a major upgrade that will benefit daily internet users.
