In a heartwarming yet challenging turn of events, a young couple from Baldia Town, Karachi, has been blessed with quintuplets—three daughters and two sons—born prematurely at a private hospital. The rare and emotional birth occurred through an emergency C-section at just 29 weeks of pregnancy, making it a moment of both joy and concern for the new parents.
The babies were born underweight and facing breathing difficulties, a common risk in premature births. Soon after delivery, all five infants were placed on oxygen support, and thorough medical assessments were initiated. Doctors are keeping a close watch on their condition, which is said to be gradually improving.
The father, Adnan Sheikh, who works as a driver, shared his overwhelming mix of gratitude and financial stress. Married only a year ago, Adnan expressed his immense happiness over the unexpected blessing but also appealed for urgent financial assistance to manage the high medical costs.
