The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that the CNIC and B-form fee structure will remain unchanged in July 2025, keeping costs the same for all new and renewing applicants.
A Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) is essential for every Pakistani citizen over the age of 18. It enables access to critical services like opening a bank account, getting a passport, applying for a driving license, obtaining a SIM card, or accessing government services.
For children, the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as the B-form, is the first official identity document and is required for school admissions and various registrations.
